Another day of cool weather, scattered showers, and windy conditions can be expected in KELOLAND. Look for highs in the upper 40s for Sioux Falls, Aberdeen, and Pierre. Even though some areas will start the day with sunshine, clouds will likely redevelop. Rapid City will be warmer with highs in the lower 50s, but strong northwest winds are still in the forecast.
Scattered light rain may still impact eastern KELOLAND tonight with a few flakes of snow possible. The light shower chances are still in the forecast on Thursday, but many areas West River will be warmer with highs in the 60s.
The warmer weather trend will spread east Friday, even though we will have another slight chance of showers with the passage of a weak front.
There will be a chance of scattered showers again by Sunday, but highs should still be in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Warmer weather is likely early next week with widespread 60s and 70s more likely. Another disturbance is showing up on some of the long-range data, so that will be the biggest factor impacting how warm we get by Tuesday and Wednesday. At least it will feel like spring again.
