Storm Center Update- Wednesday AM

Heavy snow from Tuesday north of Sioux Falls has left quite an impact on roads around the Brookings and Marshall. Locally six to eight inches fell in that area, so drifting snow is a problem.  Here are a few snowfall totals.

We are expecting mostly cloudy skies in much of KELOLAND on Wednesday. Highs should be in the mid 20s in both Sioux Falls and Aberdeen, with lower 40s toward Rapid City.

Much warmer weather is on the way Thursday, with highs near 57 in Rapid City. Even Sioux Falls will be above freezing.  That’s just a taste of what is to come.  Highs by Sunday and Monday will be in the 40s and 50s in most areas.
