Storm Center Update- Tuesday AM

July 8, 2014, 6:05 AM by Brian Karstens

SIOUX FALLS, SD -

A nice day is forecast in KELOLAND with highs mainly in the upper 70s to lower 80s.  More clouds are expected in the northeast where a stray shower or thundershower is possible.  Northwest winds will be common at 10-20 mph.

Mostly clear skies are expected tonight with lows in the lower to middle 50s.  The pleasant weather will continue tomorrow with highs just a little warmer in the lower to middle 80s.

The next chance of rain will arrive by Thursday with scattered t-storms developing in western KELOLAND.  These clusters of rain will then move east Thursday evening into Friday.  Scattered thunderstorms are possible on Friday and Saturday as well.

One interesting headline of the extended forecast will be the extent of the cooler weather early next week.  Highs could drop back into the 60s with northwest winds either Monday and Tuesday.
