Storm Center Update- Tuesday AM

May 20, 2014, 5:04 AM by Brian Karstens

SIOUX FALLS, SD -

We have another mild morning in KELOLAND and more “above normal” temperatures are in the forecast for many areas.  Sioux Falls will be close to 80 this afternoon, with mid to upper 70s in the Aberdeen and Pierre areas.  Rapid City will be cooler in the upper 60s with a chance of scattered showers.  The chance of scattered rain will continue both tonight and tomorrow again for western KELOLAND.  Meanwhile, East River areas will trend drier the next 48 to 72 hours.

Temperature trends will turn a little cooler tomorrow, with highs staying in the upper 60s to lower 70s.  Again, most chances of rain will stay in western KELOLAND.

The upcoming weekend is looking more unsettled with better chances of showers and t-storms.  We’ll also see warmer temperatures, especially early next week with 80s looking likely.
