It’s a cool morning in KELOLAND with many areas in the 30s west of Sioux Falls. Skies will be partly cloudy with highs in the 50s and breezy northwest winds will continue at 15-30 mph.
More 30s are likely tonight and scattered frost is in the forecast. It looks like Aberdeen will be the coldest near 30 by tomorrow morning. Sioux Falls, Pierre, and Rapid City will most likely stay in the mid 30s. This will set the stage for another cool day tomorrow with some scattered areas of showers in the afternoon. Most of the scattered rain that develops tomorrow will dissipate by tomorrow night.
Frost chances will return tomorrow night and may repeat again Thursday night. We will see warmer readings by the end of the 7 day forecast with highs returning to the upper 60s by Sunday and Monday. We may also see a better chance of rain early next week as the mercury rises.
