Another mild day is on the way in KELOLAND with above normal temperatures once again. Look for highs near 50 in Rapid City, 49 in Pierre, 36 in Aberdeen and 43 at Sioux Falls. Winds will be a little stronger in western KELOLAND as well.
Wednesday is still looking to be the warmest day of the week with highs in the 50s in many snow-free areas. Sioux Falls will even get close to 50 by early afternoon. The warming will come of an end on Thursday as a cold front sweeps through KELOLAND with a chance of light rain or snow.
Temperatures will continue to slide later this week as colder air from Canada returns once again. This winter has certainly shown some strength and unfortunately we aren’t done yet. The coldest air will likely arrive early next week, with highs some 10-15 degrees below normal.
Don’t focus on that. Enjoy the day and take in the warmer weather while it lasts!
