Another cloudy and cool day is expected in parts of eastern KELOLAND with a few showers scattered along and east of the James Valley. Partly sunny skies are forecast farther west, so Pierre and Rapid City will be warmer today…close to 60. Winds will still be breezy from the northwest at 15-30 mph.
Clearing skies can be expected tonight in southeast KELOLAND as the storm system from the past few days slowly pulls away from the region. Lows will be chilly in the 30s. Another front will sweep through KELOLAND tomorrow, reinforcing the northwest wind. A few scattered showers could also develop, mainly in central and northern KELOLAND.
The weekend looks fair with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s. There is a chance of shower activity Saturday night into early Sunday, but the rain doesn’t look too heavy. Warmer trends should be on the way next week along with better chances of scattered t-storms by late Tuesday into Wednesday.
