Rain and snow will continue to develop across southeastern KELOLAND as another storm system develops across the region.
Winter weather advisories have been posted for much of NW IA and SW MN.
We are carefully following these trends of wind and snow Thursday and road conditions will be impacted as the snow intensifies in these areas. Sioux Falls will also pick up rain and snow Thursday morning. Temperatures will remain in the 30s with increasing winds through the afternoon.
The heaviest snowfall accumulation should be just east of Sioux Falls today.
The worst of the wind will be western SD where high wind warnings have been issued. Winds of 30-60 mph will be likely in Rapid City.

Colder weather will filter into KELOLAND tomorrow along with additional areas of light snow. The worst of the cold will arrive next week with highs well below normal. Snow is also looking more likelyl by Monday as winter returns in full force to KELOLAND.
