Storm Center Update- Monday AM

August 25, 2014, 7:10 AM by Brian Karstens

SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Look for a pleasant weather day in KELOLAND after a busy weekend of storms.  Highs will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s with the drop in humidity.  We expect partly cloudy skies tonight and cooler weather with lows in the mid 40s in Aberdeen.  Most locations will see lower to mid 50s.

We expect more clouds tomorrow with showers in the far west tomorrow morning.  Scattered showers will drift toward Sioux Falls later in the day, with the best chances of rain staying south of I-90 toward tomorrow night.

Rain will be likely on Wednesday and Thursday in southern KELOLAND.  The chances of moisture will be lower in the far north you live.  The south could even have flash flooding issues, with the potential for 2-4” of rain around Sioux City.

Warmer weather is ahead at the end of the week.  However, the rain chances could linger…something we’ll be watching carefully, especially in the European model is correct.
