More pleasant weather is in the forecast with summer-like temperatures and chances of scattered rain ahead. Starting with today, some isolated rain has developed during the morning around Aberdeen. Most areas, however, are dry. We expect highs today a couple degrees either side of 80 in most areas with south breezes.
Showers and scattered t-storms will return to western SD tonight, but most areas East River will stay dry. The mild weather trends will continue tomorrow and the chance of rain will slowly increase later in the day. Scattered showers and t-storms are possible in most areas by Saturday night.
Perhaps a better chance of scattered rain will develop on Sunday across KELOLAND. The rain doesn’t look organized enough to cancel plans for the weekend, but we could suggest you carry the KELOLAND Live Doppler HD Storm Tracker App with you if rain pops up in your area. Lingering chances of scattered rain will continue on Memorial Day as well.
Temperatures will remain about the same day to day near 80. The dew point will increase as well, so overnight lows will be much warmer near 60.
