We have warmer start to the morning in much of KELOLAND, but that has resulted in some frost across some roads. Be aware of that and slow down. We haven’t had any reports of freezing drizzle, but some blowing snow continues in SW MN. Winds have been gusting to 40mph in Marshall. The good news is, wind speeds will decrease in that area today. There could also be a few areas of light snow in eastern KELOLAND, but amounts look pretty light. Highs today will range from the lower 30s in the east to around 40 in Rapid City.
We expect tomorrow to be warmer West River, while most areas in eastern KELOLAND will be just a little cooler than today, but with more sunshine. The weather will be warmer in eastern KELOLAND on Sunday when Sioux Falls will get close to 40 in the afternoon.
Monday still looks mild, but windy weather will be developing Monday into Tuesday. We think that periods of stronger NW winds will cycle through KELOLAND most of next week, but temperatures will still average above normal as arctic air stays to the north most of the forecast.
