It looks like another warm day is ahead for much of KELOLAND, but changes are ahead as thunderstorms return and higher winds affect the region on Friday.
Here are a few of the weather headlines we are following:
Much above normal again Thursday across eastern KELOLAND with highs in the mid to upper 70s and breezy south winds.
Rain develops Thursday evening in southwest SD, flood watch goes into effect for western KELOLAND including Rapid City.
Friday AM storms will track quickly northeast. Severe weather risk returns tomorrow for northeast KELOLAND.
High wind watch Rapid City area Friday afternoon with winds NW at 30-60 mph.
Strong winds across the rest of KELOLAND, south at 20-40mph in Sioux Falls Friday PM.
Cooler weekend with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s and in the 30s Saturday night.
More rain developing across KELOLAND Sunday night and Monday, some snow in the Black Hills.
Cooler next week with another storm possible by Thursday.
