Storm Center Update - Wednesday PM

July 16, 2014, 2:47 PM by Scot Mundt

Clouds will once again go away as the sun sets this evening.  Temperatures will not be as cool as what we had this morning Thursday morning lows will be in the low to middle fifties.  Light south winds will be likely during the overnight.

Thursday will be mostly sunny and a little warmer.  Highs will be in the low to middle eighties with south winds of five to fifteen miles per hour.  The south winds will increase slightly for Friday and temperatures will continue to warm.  Highs will be in the middle to upper eighties.

The warming trend will continue through the weekend with highs in the middle eighties to middle nineties.  Along with the hotter temps, the humidity will be thicker.  The heat will last into next week with widespread nineties likely; there will also be triple digit heat likely in central South Dakota.
