Skies will remain mostly clear this afternoon and evening with temperatures in the 80s to near 90. Winds will be light from the southeast at five to 15 miles per hour.
Mostly clear skies will be likely tonight with lows falling to the lower 60s.
Thursday will be another sunny and warm day. Highs will be in the 80s to near 90. Isolated showers and storms will develop in the Hills of western South Dakota after 4:00. Winds will favor a southerly direction at ten to 20 miles per hour.
The heat will start to break in western South Dakota on Friday. Along with the cooler air, showers and storms will become more numerous in western KELOLAND during the afternoon. The rain will hold off for central and eastern KELOLAND until the evening, I’d say after six o’clock. Rain will become widespread for all of KELOLAND this weekend. Along with the rain, temperatures will be cooler with highs mainly in the 70s. The rain will continue into next week with highs near average, middle 70s.
