While central and eastern KELOLAND will have scattered showers and storms this evening and tonight, western South Dakota will have rain and snow. Snow will be found in the higher elevations of the Hills as Winter Storm Warnings are out until Thursday morning. This area will receive six to 12 inches of snow by noon Thursday. Lows tonight will fall to the 30s in western South Dakota to the forties and fifties in central and eastern KELOLAND.
Rain will march from west to east on Thursday with colder temperatures moving along with it. Highs will be in the 40s and 50s in western, central, and northeast South Dakota while southeast KELOLAND will have highs in the 60s and 70s. Winds will be at least 15 to 30 miles per hour in many locations.
Friday will give us a break from the rain with highs in the low to middle 60s. Rain chances return this weekend with highs in the 50s and 60s.
