Storm Center Update - Wednesday PM

April 30, 2014, 2:29 PM by Scot Mundt

Periods of light rain will continue for eastern KELOLAND this evening and tonight.  Rain amounts will be light with many locations recording less than a tenth of an inch.  Central and western South Dakota will be dry during the overnight.  Strong northerly winds will continue at fifteen to twenty-five miles per hour as lows fall to the thirties by daybreak.

Showers will continue for Thursday, but they will not be as numerous as the past several days.  Amounts will remain less than a tenth of an inch.  Temperatures will remain below average as strong northerly winds continue at fifteen to thirty miles per hour.

We’ll slowly dry it out on Friday and temperatures will return to the low sixties.  Fifties and sixties will be likely into the weekend with partly cloudy skies.  Rain chances return early next week as highs slowly get closer to average.
