Storm Center Update - Wednesday PM

February 5, 2014, 3:07 PM by Scot Mundt

It will be another night with below zero lows in KELOLAND with the coldest air in northern South Dakota.  The going forecast low in Aberdeen is fifteen below.  Add the wind, and wind chills will be in the twenties and thirties below zero.  Wind Chill Advisories cover all of KELOLAND through noon on Thursday.

Single digit highs will continue for Thursday with mostly sunny skies.  Winds will become light as the day goes on, but still expect wind chills in the single digits and teens below zero for Thursday afternoon.

Highs in the teens will be common for much of KELOLAND on Friday.  The teens will continue into the weekend with a slight chance for light snow on Saturday.  The end of the seven day forecast is still showing signs of a warm up with highs in the twenties for eastern KELOLAND with the forties sneaking into western South Dakota.
