Temperatures will slowly warm as we head through this evening and tonight. By the morning, there will be some areas near ten degrees (above zero) in eastern South Dakota with teens in the central and west.
The sunshine will continue for Thursday and temperatures will be about twenty degrees warmer, which is still below average in eastern South Dakota. Western South Dakota will be in the forties. Friday will be slightly colder with a slight chance for light snow in eastern South Dakota. Highs on Friday will be in the twenties and thirties. Some of the light snow will continue into Saturday as the temps remain well below average. The weekend will consist of highs in the teens and twenties in central and eastern South Dakota while the west stays in the thirties and forties. Temperatures will be slightly warmer next week with highs in the twenties in eastern South Dakota to the thirties and forties in the central and west.
