Clouds will thicken for a lot of us in KELOLAND this evening and tonight. Many will have a mostly cloudy night with lows falling to the single digits above and below zero. Areas of fog will be possible in western South Dakota.
It will be another cold day tomorrow with highs remaining below average. Lower to middle teens will be likely in eastern South Dakota to the twenties in central KELOLAND and the forties in western South Dakota. Winds will also be a little stronger, south winds with speeds of fifteen to twenty-five miles per hour will be common in central and eastern KELOLAND. Northwest winds of twenty to thirty-five miles per hour will be likely in western South Dakota. As a clipper travels through northern KELOLAND later in the day, there will be a slight chance for light snow. Any snow that falls will stay less than an inch.
Friday will be another cold day in eastern KELOLAND but slightly warmer air will move in for the weekend. Twenties will try to return to central and eastern KELOLAND this weekend. Forties will continue in western South Dakota with a slight chance to get to fifty on Sunday. There is some new information pointing to a chance for a wintry mix in southeast KELOLAND on Sunday, so I added a slight chance for that.
