After the rain this morning, we’ve had plenty of sunshine this afternoon with temperatures warming to the eighties and nineties.
Isolated showers and storms will continue in western South Dakota this evening, but most of the activity will be gone after sunset. Dry conditions will remain in central and eastern KELOLAND tonight with lows falling to near seventy.
We’ll start another stretch of hot and dry weather Thursday. Thursday’s highs will be in the nineties, but central and south central South Dakota will have readings in the one hundreds. The one hundred degree heat will continue in central and southeast KELOLAND through Saturday, nineties will be elsewhere. It will also be very humid over the next several days with heat index numbers in the upper nineties to the one hundreds.
The next chance for rain will be in northeast KELOLAND on Saturday with a slight chance for showers and storms.
