Light snow showers will move southeast through the evening. While the amounts will stay light, it will be enough to give commuters slick conditions as we head through the evening. Skies will remain mostly cloudy for the overnight with lows falling to the single digits above and below zero in eastern South Dakota to the teens in western South Dakota.
Wednesday will be cold. Highs will only be in the single digits and teens in central and eastern South Dakota to the twenties in western KELOLAND. Winds will be breezy from the north and northwest at fifteen to thirty miles per hour.
The north winds will help usher in another round of bitter cold. Lows will fall to the teens and twenties below zero in many locations for eastern KELOLAND by Thursday morning! There’s a slight warm up in the works for the weekend with highs returning to the twenties and thirties. Along with the warmer air, scattered light rain and light snow will be possible.
