Clouds in southeast KELOLAND will leave this evening and give way to clear skies for the overnight. Lows will eventually fall to the teens and twenties tonight with west winds averaging ten to twenty miles per hour.
Sunny skies are on their way for Wednesday. The sunshine combined with light south winds will help the temperatures warm to the thirties, forties, and fifties.
We should be able to squeeze out one more warm day on Thursday with highs in the thirties and forties. Southeast KELOLAND still has a chance for light rain on Thursday, but models are holding back on some of the amounts. As of now, rain amounts are ranging from a couple hundredths to a few tenths of an inch.
As the colder air moves in on Friday, snow will develop in western, central, north central, and northeast South Dakota. As the snow flies, winds will be strong. If you have any travel plans on Friday stay attuned to the weather. Temperatures will be colder with highs in the twenties.
Cold air arrives just in time for the weekend with highs in the teens. Lingering snow will still be possible on Saturday, but Sunday will be dry.
