Snow will end this evening with cloudy skies remaining for the overnight. Lows tonight will fall to the teens with light winds.
We’re still watching a storm system for Wednesday, though the heaviest rain and snow will be to our south, the system might be strong enough to bring some snow in extreme southeast South Dakota and southern Minnesota. We’ll continue the twenty percent chance for snow in Sioux Falls, but the chances will increase greatly in northwest Iowa. Northeast, central, and western South Dakota will stay dry with highs in the twenties.
Dry skies are forecast for the rest of the week and into the weekend. Temperatures will be seasonal or just below average with highs in the teens and twenties for the weekend. Overnight lows will fall to the single digits above and below zero.
A storm system will develop for next week, possibly just in time for Christmas. We’ll continue to watch the latest trends and keep you informed.
