Storm Center Update - Tuesday PM

November 6, 2012, 2:19 PM by Scot Mundt

Clouds will hold in eastern KELOLAND this evening and tonight while central and western South Dakota remain clear.  Winds will die down as the sun sets, giving way to light northwest winds during the overnight.  Lows will eventually fall to the twenties in central and eastern KELOLAND while the west will fall to the thirties.

Wednesday will be another sunny and dry day, but winds will not be as strong.  Highs will once again make the fifties and sixties, but western South Dakota will get close to seventy.  The warmth will continue for the rest of the work week.

As a storm system moves through the upper plains this weekend, it will bring warm air into eastern KELOLAND on Saturday with highs in the sixties.  Western South Dakota will have cooler air by Saturday with highs in the thirties and a chance for snow.  The cooler air will move into eastern KELOLAND on Sunday with afternoon highs about twenty to thirty degrees colder than Saturday.  Snow chances will still have to be watched, but it looks like most of the snow will fall in North Dakota.
