Winds and clouds will decrease through the evening. With clear skies and light winds, temperatures will eventually fall to the twenties tonight. Areas of north central and northeast KELOLAND will fall to the teens.
Wednesday will be slightly warmer as southwest winds kick in. The winds will not be as strong as what they have been, but speeds of ten to twenty miles per hour will be common. Highs will rebound to the sixties in many locations with Rapid City getting close to seventy degrees.
A quick hit of cooler air will move in on Thursday with highs returning below average (50s), but the temperatures will slowly warm as an approaching storm system gets closer to the upper plains.
Friday will be dry with highs near sixty, but that tune will change on Saturday. Low pressure will move through Nebraska on Saturday and eventually spark showers and storms. Some areas in eastern KELOLAND will get more than a half inch of rain that day, but amounts will be much lighter in the west. The rain will be east of us on Sunday. Temperatures this weekend will be in the sixties.
