It’s been another day with temperatures in the eighties and nineties, but the heat will soon come to an end. A cold front will move through KELOLAND this evening and tonight to help usher in cooler air. Temperatures on Wednesday will be at least ten degrees cooler, so expect highs in the seventies.
In the meantime, scattered showers and storms will be possible this evening and early tonight in eastern and southeast KELOLAND. Lows will fall to the fifties by daybreak.
The cooler air will stay with us through the weekend. In fact, a stronger hit of cool air will move in on Friday. This too will come with a chance for showers as highs will struggle out of the sixties in northeast KELOLAND, lower to middle seventies are in the works for everyone else.
A slow warming trend is in the works for the second half of the weekend and into next week.
