Clouds will continue to increase in eastern KELOLAND this afternoon and evening. The thicker clouds will eventually lead to showers and storms in eastern KELOLAND tonight with the best chance for rain in northeast South Dakota. Scattered showers and storms will continue to rumble across the Hills of western KELOLAND this afternoon and evening. The storms will remain widely scattered and mainly across the Hills and areas just to the east. Lows tonight will fall to the sixties.
Rain will be ongoing in eastern KELOLAND Wednesday morning, mainly east of Interstate 29. Otherwise, skies will remain mostly cloudy for many along and east of Highway 281. Skies will be partly cloudy west of that area. Temperatures will be in the eighties in eastern KELOLAND to the nineties in the central and west.
The eighties and nineties will continue on Thursday but cooler air will soon arrive on Friday and Saturday. That’s when high temperatures will be in the seventies and lower eighties in eastern KELOLAND. Central and western South Dakota will be warmer with highs in the middle to upper eighties in central South Dakota to the nineties in the west.
Temperatures will slowly warm this weekend with another chance for rain. Temperatures will warm closer to average on Sunday in eastern KELOLAND while they will remain above average in central and western South Dakota.
