Skies are mostly clear this morning with temperatures in the fifties and low sixties. Isolated light showers are falling in extreme southwest South Dakota (Fall River County) and are moving southeast. Everyone has a small chance (twenty to thirty percent) for a shower or thundershower this afternoon starting after 3:00. Highs will warm to the seventies and low eighties this afternoon.
Scattered showers and thundershowers will be possible late this evening and early tonight in western South Dakota. Otherwise, skies will be partly cloudy with lows falling to the fifties.
Wednesday will bring in another round of showers and storms with some of the storms becoming strong to severe in western South Dakota. The chance for severe weather will move into central South Dakota on Thursday and into eastern KELOLAND on Friday. Highs will warm to the middle eighties by the end of the workweek and into the weekend.
