If you missed out on the rain last night and this morning, there’s more on the way for the weekend. In the meantime, expect dry skies tonight through Saturday with highs in the sixties and seventies. Winds shouldn’t be as strong with many areas averaging ten to twenty miles per hour.
The rain will start on Sunday and it will last into Tuesday. Widespread rain amounts of a half inch or more can be expected. Western South Dakota has a chance at an inch or more, with some snow mixing in with the rain. Temperatures will be cooler with highs in the forties and fifties on Sunday. The cool air will stay around for early next week with highs in the forties as lingering showers will last through Tuesday.
