Showers and storms will be scattered in western South Dakota late this afternoon and evening. The rain will fall apart as it moves east into central and eastern KELOLAND, so there’s only a slight chance to get wet in the central and east. Lows will fall to the upper thirties to lower forties.
Friday will be sunny and warm with highs in the upper sixties to middle seventies. The warmth will continue into Saturday with highs in the low and middle seventies. We’re also watching for developing showers and storms later in the day for southeast and western KELOLAND. The rain will become widespread Saturday night into Sunday. Along with the rain on Sunday, temperatures will be sharply cooler. Highs on Sunday will be in the forties, about thirty degrees cooler.
Forties will last into early next week, but it will slowly start to warm after midweek.
