Clear to mostly clear skies continue into this evening and the overnight hours. Temperatures bottoming out in the low 30s across KELOLAND with winds shifting to a more northwesterly direction later in the night, winds speeds 10 to 20 mph.
For Friday, above average temperatures remain, though slightly cooler than Thursday due to the northwesterly winds. High temperatures in the mid to upper 40s for eastern KELOLAND while western and central KELOLAND will see the 50s again. Winds will speed up to a breezy 20 to 30 mph and gusting even higher.
The weekend brings a chance for a light band of wintery mix moving across South Dakota starting as early as Saturday morning in the west, lasting to the overnight hours, and leaving KELOLAND as late as Sunday morning. Weekend temperatures in the 30s and 40s for majority of KELOLAND, western side of the area look to make it back to the 50s on Sunday.
