Clouds will continue to move through KELOLAND this evening and tonight, but dry skies will prevail. Lows will eventually fall to the single digits and teens.
Colder air will be here Friday with highs only in the teens for central and eastern South Dakota to the twenties and thirties in western KELOLAND. The cold air will spark light snow showers in northern South Dakota during the afternoon. Anything that falls will stay very light with amounts less than an inch likely. Some of the snow will move into southeast KELOLAND Friday evening and Friday night. The amounts in the southeast will remain less than an inch.
The weekend will be cold with highs in the teens and twenties for central and eastern South Dakota. Western South Dakota will warm to the thirties and low forties.
We’ll slowly warm the temps for early next week with highs returning to the twenties and thirties. Along with the warmer air, light snow will be possible on Monday.
