Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible through the evening in southeast KELOLAND. Rain amounts will generally stay less and a tenth of an inch, but higher amounts will be possible underneath thunderstorms. Western South Dakota also has a chance for scattered storms this afternoon and evening. It will be a mild overnight as lows fall to the middle sixties.
Friday will be mostly sunny and hot. Highs will reach the low nineties in eastern South Dakota to the middle nineties in central and western KELOLAND. Many locations will reach the nineties again on Saturday but scattered storms will also be possible. Sunday will still be above average with highs in the eighties and nineties with a slight chance for a storm.
Next week will still be warm with highs in the eighties and nineties. Cooler air will try to nudge its way into the upper plains by Wednesday and Thursday, but many in KELOLAND will still be above average.
