Storm Center Update - Thursday AM

Numerous Wind Chill Advisories and Wind Chill Warnings cover all of KELOLAND through noon Thursday.  There are widespread wind chills ranging from minus twenty to minus thirty-four this morning.  The air temperatures are in the single digits and teens below.

Single digit highs can be expected for this afternoon underneath mostly sunny skies.  Winds will remain light, but you can still expect wind chills in the single digits and teens below zero during the afternoon.

Highs in the teens will be common for much of KELOLAND on Friday.  Light snow will develop in western South Dakota later in the day.  The light snow will move into central, eastern, and southeast KELOLAND by Saturday morning.  Snow amounts will remain light, but one to two inches will be possible for the southern half of KELOLAND.

The end of the seven day forecast is still showing signs of a warm up with highs in the twenties for eastern KELOLAND with the forties sneaking into western South Dakota.
