The winds of today will die down overnight, as cool high pressure takes over for the next several days. The big weather story is the intensifying dry conditions. Our chances for rainfall this week are small or nonexistent.
Cool Canadian air is being driven down across (mainly Eastern) KELOLAND by a northwest flow aloft. This means that temperatures will be five to ten degrees below normal for the next couple days.
Tomorrow will be less windy than today, so it will be a mostly sunny and cool day. Highs will be in the 70s East River, to the low 80s in the west.
The 7 day forecast will remain dry and cool until the weekend, when gradually increasing temperatures may eventually result in some rain. Until then, we’ll have a mostly sunny week. Even the winds will be on the light side.
