Storm Center Update - Sunday PM

June 22, 2014, 4:09 PM by Grant Smith

It appears we can breathe a sigh of relief as we are going into a couple calm days.

For Sunday evening into the overnight, we will see decreasing clouds. Any showers that are leftover when the sun goes down look to fade out relatively quickly as there isn’t much potential energy in the atmosphere to sustain them. Lows tonight ranging from the mid-50s to around 60.

The start of the work week will have mostly clear to partly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 70s for both Monday and Tuesday.

Then on Wednesday, upper level winds will pull in more moisture to KELOLAND so showers and storms are expected late Wednesday and Thursday. Highs still in the upper 70s.
