For tonight, snow looks to begin making its way across KELOLAND in the evening hours and move southeast. Overnight lows in the low to mid 20s.
Total snowfall amounts across KELOLAND look to be up to 1-2” with some areas in eastern South Dakota getting some locally heavier amounts. The first round of snow looks to be out of South Dakota in the early afternoon so clouds will start to thin out but a smaller second round of snow may pass through central and southeastern KELOLAND later in the afternoon. Highs for Monday are in the mid 30s. Breezy northerly winds at 15 to 25 mph.
Monday night’s lows will be back in the teens across KELOLAND and Tuesday’s highs will be colder in some areas, highs in the 20s and 30s.
Afterwards, KELOLAND will slowly warm back up to the 50s by Wednesday. Chance for another rain/snow mix on Thursday leaving behind mostly cloudy skies and cooler Friday but Saturday and Sunday will be much warmer, highs in the 50s and 60s.
