Storm Center Update - Sunday PM

February 2, 2014, 4:35 PM by Grant Smith

A cold front will continue to make its way across KELOLAND overnight Sunday into Monday shifting the winds to a more northerly direction. Snow will start near Rapid City Monday afternoon and continue to push its way across the state lasting into Tuesday night. This will be a widespread and light snow event. Current snowfall amounts between 1-2 inches.

Tuesday evening into Wednesday, winds will pick up to 10 to 15+ mph across KELOLAND, and with the leftover cold air, wind chill will be a factor. A secondary snow event is looking to finish off the week Friday night into Saturday. We’ll keep an eye on it and continue to bring you the latest updates.
