The new week starts where the old one left off: lots of sunshine and above-normal temperatures. We should remain dry across the region through at least late Wednesday.
Tonight should remain breezy but mainly clear. There’s a big system off of the Pacific NW that will bring some clouds but also mild SW winds that will keep lows from dropping all that much by tomorrow morning. Besides that breeze, it should be a quiet night.
Tomorrow should be about the same as today, maybe even a few degrees warmer. There will be a decent SW breeze and it will be quite windy in Rapid City. If you don’t mind the wind, it will be a gorgeous and warm late September day!
We’ll cool things down each day of the new week. Tuesday will be breezy East River, as we’re now behind the cold front. Rain comes in along the North Dakota border Wednesday afternoon. For NOW, we’ll keep the forecast in Aberdeen dry on Wednesday. There’s a much better chance of rain for everyone Thursday and Friday. We’ve got a good chance of frost forming for the coming weekend!
