We got the chance to break quite a few records today. Aberdeen, Sisseton, Watertown and Pierre all bested previous marks. A cold front is starting to move through our area. That will create a stiff overnight breeze with more clouds and a chance of sprinkles.
The moisture some do see will be less than a tenth of an inch in most cases. Tomorrow will still be warm and windy, as we mix with higher levels. Later on in the week we will cool down to more of a typical December-like feel. Thursday will be the transition day. We will have more cloud cover and we could see some more sprinkles or very light snow. Friday through Sunday will be much colder. Highs will struggle to reach the 30s and some long-range computer models want to bring in more moisture next weekend. We’ll continue to monitor the big changes heading our way!
