We’ve been tracking this Clipper system moving through KELOLAND today. Snows have been light, just as expected. Most has not stuck to roadways but some more is on the way for this evening. Overall, most have picked up light moisture totals.
This will head out to our SE later on this evening. Most will be done with rain or snow by midnight though some could linger before sunrise. We’ll have a tough time clearing off the low cloud deck tomorrow east of the Missouri. There could be some patchy fog along the border with North Dakota tomorrow morning, as well.
Wind will be a factor Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The good news is that Election Day (Tuesday) looks sunny and warmer. Sun & breeze continues through Thursday before the dramatic shift in the pattern. Saturday a large storm tracks through central KELOLAND. Most of the moisture does look like it will be to our north but with strong wrap-around winds snow is a possibility. Those Arctic winds will bring in some of the coldest air all year, with many lows in the teens!
