Rain showers and isolated thunderstorms are currently moving north out of southern Nebraska and western Iowa. This area of rain will move into eastern KELOLAND after sunset. The best locations to receive rain tonight will be from Winner to Aberdeen and east. While much of the rain will stay light, some locations can receive a quarter to a half inch. Lows tonight will fall to the upper thirties and lower forties.
Light showers will linger for Monday morning along and east of Interstate 29, but they will quickly leave and give way to sunshine and warm air. Highs on Monday will climb to the sixties.
Be prepared for a dry and mild work week. Highs will remain in the sixties and seventies throughout the week. The weekend will still be mild, but southeast KELOLAND will also have scattered showers and storms. Beyond the seven day forecast, models are trying to show better chances for rain around the 20th of March. All in all, it looks like temperatures will remain well above average for the next two weeks.
