Storm Center Update - Sunday PM
October 9, 2011, 4:47 PM
A few miles made a big difference in weather across the state today. Some parts of KELOLAND have been socked in with clouds and rain through the day today, while other areas had sunshine and warm temperatures. The nicest weather today was in the SE where we had sun and temperatures near 80, it was gorgeous! Showers and thunderstorms were widespread in east central and central South Dakota today. Pierre and Winner both picked up over an inch of rainfall today.
Lingering showers are expected into early Monday in the east. We should clear out late Monday across the state. The rest of the week is then looking pretty dry although there is a slight chance of a shower in the east on Wednesday. Temperatures will be in the 60s for most of the area this week.
Have a great night!
