Early this morning, one last strong storm moved over the Sioux Falls area and now the only area with rain is in the extreme eastern side of KELOLAND. The rain is expected to keep moving northeast and out of the area this morning.
For Sunday, KELOLAND can expect clearing skies throughout the afternoon as westerly winds push out clouds and dew points are expected to go down as well, back to the 50s. Afternoon highs will be a little cooler than yesterday, reaching the 70s to low 80s. The southeast corner of the area does have a small chance for brief showers this afternoon, but mostly clear to partly cloudy skies otherwise.
Sunday evening into overnight, the skies are expected to keep clearing out with lows in the low to mid 50s.
The next work week will be cooler with highs in the 60s and 70s. More showers are expected again on Tuesday and Wednesday, and then mostly clear skies for the rest of the week.
