Storm Center Update - Sunday AM

August 3, 2014, 5:48 AM by Grant Smith

Sunday in KELOLAND looks to be mostly clear across the state with highs in the mid-80s in the east and once again around 90 for the western side. Small chance for isolated showers and storms in the west and the northeast in the afternoon in the heat of the day.

Sunday night, what storms that develop in the afternoon will fade out relatively quickly, lows tonight cooling to the low to mid-60s once again. Few clouds may still be leftover from the afternoon rain.

Monday looks to start with mostly clear across the state before the thundershowers begin in the afternoon. Monday's highs will be cooler, 80s will be found across the area.

The best chances for rain across KELOLAND are on Tuesday and Wednesday. Leftover showers Thursday morning with clearing skies Thursday afternoon. Friday, we could see more showers and storms but this will be a separate system than the one that will affect KELOLAND during most of the week.
