Storm Center Update - Sunday AM

June 15, 2014, 5:47 AM by Grant Smith

Skies clearing out throughout the afternoon today with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 70s across the state. Another windy day with sustained winds 15 to 25 mph with wind gusts in the 30s.

For tonight, we’ll start the night with mostly clear skies but clouds rebuilding throughout the night, low temperatures cooling down to the mid-50s.

Next chance for rain in the state is for the eastern half on Monday afternoon into early morning Tuesday. After that, a larger, more organized system will move through late Wednesday through Friday bringing rain to most of the state.

High temperatures this week will resemble a roller coaster with a warming trend till Tuesday, slightly cooler for Wednesday but warming back up by next weekend.
