Easter Sunday in KELOLAND is looking at being another great day to be outside with temperatures reaching the 70s with mostly sunny skies. Then late afternoon/early evening, a weak cold front will move through central and eastern South Dakota bringing chances for light rain. Central and northeast KELOLAND could see showers Sunday evening and the southeastern corner of the state is looking at light rain in the early morning Monday. Overnight lows in the low to mid 40s.
For the start of the work week, surface high pressure moves into North Dakota giving us mostly clear skies for Monday and Tuesday, temperatures a little cooler but still above average, highs in the mid to upper 60s.
Then Wednesday into Thursday, scattered showers and thunderstorms will make their way across KELOLAND. Some of these thunderstorms have the potential to be severe (high winds and small hail), stay tuned to KELOLAND Weather for the latest.
