Light snow will continue for much of the day in eastern and southeast KELOLAND while the snow will eventually come to an end later this afternoon in western South Dakota. The drier air will move into central and eastern KELOLAND later this evening to help bring an end to the snow.
Winter Weather Advisories are out for extreme southeast KELOLAND for amounts of three to four inches.
Amounts will taper off as you make your way to the north and west. It will remain cold today with highs only in the single digits and teens. Throw in the wind, and we’ll have wind chills in the teens and twenties below zero. It will be another cold one tonight with lows falling to the single digits and teens below zero.
The cold air will stay for much of the week as highs will only be in the single digits and teens. Toward the end of the seven day, highs will try to reach the twenties and thirties.
