Today will be quiet and calm apart from slowly warming temperatures and an increasing west wind. Though still below normal, highs will rally to around 60 degrees by mid-afternoon. The air is still very dry and winds will create high fire danger. Clouds will spread in from the north and northwest ahead of the next system arriving tomorrow.
We’ll have almost overcast skies for tonight. That keeps lows more manageable in the middle 30s. Southwest winds take over briefly tomorrow. That will setup the warmest day of the week but there will be a few clouds around. Since there will be slightly more moisture, we have a chance a getting a few sprinkles. FutureScan is more aggressive with early showers than any other computer models. I think those that see any rain will be few and far between.
Tuesday will be very cloudy and cooler behind the stronger northwest winds. We do bring back a lot of sun and some breeze for the Wednesday through Friday. Highs will still be below normal, only reaching the lower 60s.
The next organized chance of rain comes next Saturday with the best chances in the east.
