Morning fog in eastern KELOLAND has prompted a Dense Fog Advisory for a short while longer. The fog should eventually break by 11 a.m.
The other big weather story in the coming week is a heat wave moving back in, even though it's the last week in August. We'll be at least close to 90 today in western South Dakota and in the middle 80s in the east. Most of the week will be sunny with little active weather.
Apart from very clear skies overnight, a few very stray storms could pop up in northern Nebraska and push eastwards.
Tomorrow we bring in even more heat from the Desert Southwest. That will peak Tuesday and Wednesday. We've added isolated morning rain chances in for Aberdeen and Pierre although the system causing it doesn't look too organized.
We're looking for 100+ temperatures by Wednesday across West River.
Thursday a cold front comes in. That should bring windy conditions to many in KELOLAND. Eventually temperatures fall back into the 80s.
